Five points are required in one word for a Fakir:

 

1.      Ilm : Ilm is composed of three literals.

2.      Amal (practice): it is also composed of three literals

3.      Hilam (meekness): it is also composed of three literals

4.      Shara’ (Shariat): it is also composed of three literals

5.      Fukr : it is also composed of three literals

 

All these collectively are fifteen literals. All these fifteen when added together provide Jamiyat. He is not a Fakir who has not all these qualities in him!

 

These five things have to be given up by a Fakir:

 

1.      Jahl (ignorance)

2.      Dunya (world)

3.      Ahl e Dunya (lovers of Dunya)

4.      Nafs

5.      Hypocrisy and Kufr.

 

Hypocrisy and Kufr give birth to inclining towards public to conquer their obedience to earn worldly pursuits. This station is of gathering. The following Muakals (agents) should be appointed over a Fakir to cordon him:

 

1.      Resignation (trust) in Allah

2.      Shariat of Hazoor (SA ALLAH HU ALIHA WA ALLIHI WASILIM)

3.      Indigent is in Allah’s safety.

4.      Murshid Arif Bi Allah

5.      Arguments from the words of Allah for guidance.

 

O Bahu (Rh) what is knowledge? It is a virtuous friend. And what is a Murshid? Guide of the Way. What is Marifat? The provisions of journey. What is Fukr? The eternal king. Fakir is one who saves mankind from all that is besides Allah and cleans them in the water of the river of Wahdat same as washer man cleans an impure and unclean cloth. A Fakir should be like Hazrat Jarjees AS. Fakir’s heart should be in conformity with Allah’s words.

 

O Talib! Remember! That Aalims are men of advice while Fakirs always fight against Nafs. Fakirs are shadow of Allah and are self sufficient and deputy of Allah.
