(ALLAH ALMIGHTY IS NEARER TO MAN THAN MAN’S JUGULAR VEIN)

 

Allah Almighty says: “And we are nearer to him than his jugular vein” (50:16)

The relation of man with Allah is as close as the link of bone marrow is with the bone.

 

Allah Almighty says: “And (also) in yourselves. Can you then not see?” (51:61)

 

(THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PRESENCE OF NAFS AND SATAN IN HUMAN BODY)

 

Nafs and Satan are in man’s body same as blood circulates in blood vessels.  Thus what is the significant of the brain? Same as the pulp, skin and vein is related with body the bearers of knowledge (Ilm) and followers of Fukr are distinct. When a Saalik (follower of the mystical Sufi Pathway to God) reaches at this position he finds the reality of ‘(the Christians said) God is one among the three gods’. Thus as per said saying there are three deities (gods) in man’s body:

 

1.      Nafs

2.      Desires of Nafs

3.      God

 

Thus kill down the first two deities and prove on yourself that ‘verily! Allah is the only worthy of worship’. Then you will become a real Muslim same like when Hazrat Ibrahim AS came out of ‘idol-temple’ after destroying the idols!

 

Hazoor (SA ALLAH HU ALIHA WA ALLIHI WASILIM) said: “he who has successfully understood his Nafs, he found his Nourisher. He, who understood that his Nafs is mortal, he understood that his Nourisher is The Everlasting’

 

Lust is for the captives of lust whereas Allah is for the Lovers of Allah!
