(KINDS OF A MURSHID AND ABOUT THIS OFFICE)

 

Be informed! That Murshids are of three kinds:

 

1.      A Murshid Kamil (perfect). He is like a mercy for the Talib.

2.      Murshid Naqis (imperfect). He is a source of inconvenience and trouble for the Talib.

3.      Murshid Kham (incomplete). He is absolutely a curse.

 

He Murshid who reaches to the entirety of (worldly) offices and ranks, he reaches to the level of Pharaoh with his peak approach to the worldly ranks. The Murshid who excels in the entirety of Marifat, he, thus, takes the Talib to the climax in Marifat. The office of Fukr is Muhammadi (SA ALLAH HU ALIHA WA ALLIHI WASILIM) and the Murshid who neither lets his Talib excel in the worldly ranks, which are source of curses, nor takes him the entirety of Marifat, which is totally a secret of the Lord’s Mercy; he is not a genuine Murshid.

 

It is not an easy assignment to be a Murshid but rather Murshidi (being a Murshid) and Talibi (being a Talib) is a secret of the great secrets of Allah Almighty because the office of the Murshid is the outcome of the Marifat of Lord and the Fukr of Aulia and Anbiya of Allah Almighty! And this supreme blessing and the favor of Allah Almighty cannot be let granted to an inferior and the incompetent Talib of the carrion world but only to true Talib of Lord and Aulia Allah who, in real terms, deserve this.
