PAGE NO. 10 Beware!
The Nafs, in the times of pleasure behaves like
Pharaoh i.e. becomes arrogant and proud. It does not remember Allah in the
times of hunger and while committing sins because at this time it behaves like
a mad dog to such an extent that eating Halal
(lawful), saying the truth and ‘leave your Nafs and
come higher up’ are forgotten by him. At
the times of Shahwat, it turns unwise, ignorant,
knowledge-less and insane because he does not believe presence of Allah at the
time of committing the sin. Allah Almighty, no doubt, is always present with
man but man, himself, is blind and gone astray. ‘and
He is with you wheresoever you may be’ (57:4)
At
the time of dispensing generosity, Nafs behaves like Qaroon because spite is the job of a malignant and malice
is a very dejected attitude. So one should make the Nafs
his obedient in one shot or otherwise kill it or put it behind bars like a
demon of Solomon with the Tassawar of Ism e Allah Zaat. With the knowledge of Hazraat,
Nafs can be captured like a thief within a second and
it can be traced in body. HADIS He, who (successfully) did gnosis of his Nafs, found his Sustainer. He, who understood his Nafs as a mortal, thus he understood his Nourisher as eternal.
He,
then reaches to the degree of ‘die before you expire’
When
this degree is revealed unto Nafs, it observes the
reality about life and later on it becomes modest and gives up all lust,
desires and Kufr and Shirk. All these degrees are
easy to reveal and show in a single step by a Murshid
Kamil and Aamil Aalim but it is very hard and tough for an imperfect and
low courage Talib to gain Tassaruf
over the treasures of the Lord, emperorship, ranks of an adviser to emperor and
keep in vision the body that can travel through the strata from the moon to
fish down in ocean because the Nafs find such a
relief in its frame of Qalb from the cheerful
treasure that he embraces death within a day. I
wonder that creed that is found doling out the treasures of Tassaruf
to so called devotees to Fakirs who are immature and deceitful devout. But on
this way of knowledge, knowledge should be with as a witness with the Aalim as his comrade and Rafiq.
