PAGE NO. 06 And with the refinement of Qalb, the transfiguration of Ruh
with which it starts appeasing with glory (Tajalli
of Ruh) is achieved; the Tajalli
Ruh is gained the Tajalli
of Sirr (the most uncovered secret). When all these
four become agreeable to each other, the owner of Nafs
becomes ruler over Nafs. These are the degrees of a Fana Fi Allah Fakir! Allah Almighty says: And
he went into his garden, while he (thus) wronged himself (18:35)
You know that without
having initiated on the hands (getting Bayat) of a Kamil Murshid who must be a foe
of Nafs, it is rather a tough and difficult
assignment to understand the condition of Nafs, to
bring it into control and to tie it in lock up even if a person toils hard in Riyazat it will be vain exercise. This is because that Nafs assumes a position of a King in human body and Satan
acts as a chief advisor (a minster) to Nafs. Allah Almighty says: Have
you seen him who has made his desire his god? (45:23)
Murshid
Kamil, first of all, separates both the said two
devils from the body and soul of the Talib; at the
stage, when the Talib of Allah has got rid of the
satanic sins and the desires of Nafs, he gets exalted
to a higher and closer place near Allah. But killing the said two devils is not
possible without the Taufiq of Lord. When the Talib Sadiq (True Seeker) starts
regularly performing Zahiri and Baatini
servitude and worship to Allah, it is an indication sign that the Nafs and Satan have become weary of said persons body and
soul. At this stage he should always keep the Wird of
Istaghfaar and say Astaghfirullah
often. Allah Almighty says: My
welfare is only in Allah (11:88)
The indication of a Talib who has turned against Nafs
is that he always focuses on his death and the torment in grave and the
ground that will be set for Accountability on the Day of Judgment.
