1. It is essential that Darwaish should remain vigilant while taking a morsel of
food, because this morsel acts a seed in the soil of the matrix of human body
which if sown in ignorance, would hinder the way of Jamiyat (integrity and
satisfaction of spirit/soul) no matter if that morsel is from Halal food (Halal
earning, Halal means legitimate as per the Law of Shariat).
2. O the odor of desire! The comfort of world is inconstant like the flash of
lightening and its love is temporary like the gloominess of dark cloud. Neither,
gains from its blessings, are worthy of making amity with, nor one should grieve
its hardships. Wise is he who shuns hatred. His abstinence, power and glory
should be more than the enemy. The bravery and valor of the brave is exhibited
at the time of fight; and the trust of trustees on the day of the transaction;
the faithfulness of woman and family on the indigent day and the reality of
friends on the day of adversity!
3. O wise dear! Have a glace on deceased buried in the graveyard for a while and
get wakefulness about their condition. You also have to come here after some
days. You, therefore, get Gnosis of God because time is like a sharp cutting
sword. Take this short span life as a bounty. If you get benefit from it, it
would be better for you. Since you are a carnal and whatever is a carnal, his
end is extinction.
4. O Darwaish! Silence is a secret of Darwaish. He who says contrary to Haq (the
absolute truth), does not say nice; and that is Haq cannot enumerate in an
expression.
5. Wise with total wisdoms is he, who first recognize the troubles associated
with Nafs (false ego, soul) and such recognition is against the Nafs and going
against Nafs means heedfulness for the sake of Allah Almighty as Allah says:
esteemed before Allah is one who is the most pious (heedful) among you (Inna
Akramakum Ind Allahe Atqaum)
6. In the way of Allah, Fakir is he, who with the profits of Holy Quran is
predominant over his Nafs. He who does not crush his desired under his feet and
does not drives his Nafs like a horse, it is impossible for him to attain levels
in Baatin (hidden inner self) whether he spends all his life in exercising self
discipline/ mortification (Riyazat). Allah says: he who restrained his Nafs from
desires, his abode will be Heaven (Wa Nayan Nafsa Anil Hawa Fa Innal Jannata
Heyal Mawa). Hadis says: He who recognized his Nafs, found his Lord.
7. Recognition of Nafs is with Taufiq of Allah (grace of Allah) and the
recognition of the Sustainer is through Gnosis of Allah which is the light and
clarity of the way.
8. An ignorant Murshid (Sheikh, Spiritual Teacher) is the Murid (disciple) of
Satan while a Scholarly Murshid is like Bayazid Bastami Rh.
9. He who steps in Fukr, it is better for him that he must test himself in
Zaahir (physical) and Baatins Knowledge because if an ignorant person would
step in Fukr, he would face Rijat (negative reaction, failure) and would
ultimately become a madman and a Kafir (heathen) and his heart would be negated.
10. You are aware that some Fakirs do not care anybody. They own the treasures
awarded to them and have entire universe in their Tassaruf (in control). But
some Fakir have no Jamiyat and they wander about for the sake of a bit of bread.
Both former and later read Ism e Allah. There is no difference in Ism e Allah
then what is the cause that one remains poor while the other becomes Ghani
(self sufficient)? The reason is that he who is aware of the honor, dignity and
worth of Ism e Allah, Ism e Allah takes him up to the level of honor, dignity
and worth and he who does not regard Ism e Allah, he remains perplexed with
poverty and hunger. The Scholars get similar treatment because of Knowledge they
bear. The real scholar is awarded with total Taufiq.
11. In the eyes of Fakir, lovers of Dunya (world) are indigent and vice a versa
but the reality is that the Fakir has all treasure of world in his possession
and control but being self sufficient he does not notice these.
